Legal
Website Terms of Use
The terms that apply to visitors using this public website.
1. About this website
These terms apply to visitors using the public Lavery Leads website. They do not replace the Client Service Terms that apply when a business purchases services.
This website is operated by Joe Lavery, a sole trader trading as Lavery Leads, operating in Northern Ireland. Email joe@laveryleads.co.uk, telephone +44 7375 033886.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
2. Information, not professional advice
Website content is provided for general information about our services. It is not legal, tax, financial, regulatory or other professional advice.
You should obtain appropriate advice before relying on information for a material business decision.
3. Quotes and contracts
Prices, package summaries, examples, availability and timescales on the public website are not a binding offer.
A service contract begins only in accordance with the Client Service Terms and an accepted Order Form or written agreement.
If a public package and an accepted Order Form differ, the accepted Order Form takes priority.
4. Results and examples
Case studies, testimonials, portfolio examples, forecasts and previous results illustrate experience; they do not guarantee that another business will achieve the same outcome.
Website, SEO and advertising results depend on many factors outside our control. The risk wording in the Client Service Terms applies to purchased services.
5. Accuracy and changes
We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate, but content may become incomplete or out of date.
We may change, remove or update website content and service information without notice. A change to this public website does not retrospectively alter an existing accepted Order Form.
If you identify an error, contact joe@laveryleads.co.uk.
6. Availability
We do not guarantee that the public website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from error.
We may suspend access for maintenance, security, technical or legal reasons.
7. Permitted use
You may:
- Browse the site for lawful personal or internal business purposes
- Print or save reasonable extracts to evaluate our services
- Share a normal link to a public page
You must not:
- Use the website unlawfully or fraudulently
- Attempt unauthorised access to the website, server, accounts or data
- Introduce malware, harmful code or excessive automated traffic
- Interfere with security, availability or another user
- Copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit substantial website content without permission
- Misrepresent an association with Lavery Leads
- Use our brand, logo, designs or content to offer a competing or deceptive service
- Scrape the site through automated means, except normal indexing by public search engines or where we give written permission
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website and its original text, design, graphics, branding and code are owned by or licensed to Lavery Leads.
“Lavery Leads”, its logo and other brand features may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, ownership or association without written permission.
Third-party names, logos, screenshots and portfolio materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used with permission or another lawful basis.
9. Enquiries and submitted content
Information submitted through a form must be accurate, lawful and relevant to the enquiry.
Do not submit:
- Passwords
- Payment-card details
- Unnecessary special-category or criminal-offence information
- Confidential information you are not authorised to share
- Infringing, defamatory, malicious or unlawful content
Submitting an enquiry does not oblige us to accept work or create a confidential adviser relationship. If confidentiality is important before a contract begins, ask us to agree suitable terms first.
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is used.
10. Third-party links and services
The website may link to payment, social-media, mapping, messaging or other third-party services.
Links are provided for convenience and do not mean that we control or endorse everything on the third-party service. Its own terms and privacy information apply.
11. Security
You are responsible for using appropriate device, browser and account security.
Although we take reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee that internet content is completely free from malicious code or security risk.
12. Liability to website visitors
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for business loss arising solely from use of, inability to use or reliance on the public website where no paid Client agreement exists.
Where a paid Client agreement exists, liability relating to the purchased services is governed by the Client Service Terms.
13. Privacy, cookies and accessibility
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information.
Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies used and how to control them.
Our Accessibility Statement explains our approach and how to request support or an alternative format.
14. Linking to this website
You may link fairly and lawfully to a public page, provided the link:
- Does not damage our reputation
- Does not imply an association or endorsement that does not exist
- Does not frame or reproduce the page deceptively
We may ask for a misleading or unlawful link to be removed.
15. Governing law
These terms and any non-contractual dispute relating to the public website are governed by the law of Northern Ireland.
The courts of Northern Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
